Though advertised as a tiny and simple audio player, Tejash Player offers you more functionality than an average audio player. It not only allows you to listen to any audio file stored in your system, but also to any online radio station. Besides, it gives you the possibility of making your own recordings of any audio signal coming in through your computer.
It allows you to create your own playlists, where you can put together any combination of FLAC, MP3, MP4, APE, WAV, and ACC audio files, among other supported formats. These lists will be stored in the player’s proprietary format for you to load and listen to as many times as you wish. The audio settings provided, though, are somehow basic and outdated – based on Direct X 8, the program offers you very basic controls to improve the overall quality of the audio, though I think these are probably all you need to simply enjoy your music using a pair of standard computer speakers.
This free audio player also provides you with recording capabilities – it enables you to put into an uncompressed WAV file any sound your computer’s soundcard can capture. It can be your voice coming through a microphone, or it can be any music playing on your PC.
Finally, it is necessary to note that Tejash Player allows you to listen to your favorite radio stations. As a tool developed in India, this player comes with six preset radio stations from that area, though you can also paste the URL of any other online radio station you want to listen to. more
